It's really not the wait, but that they once again promised something they knew full well they would be unable to deliver on. I mean, they're still promoting immediate delivery of the bonus items.

This happens with every expansion. SE wont invest in a proper website, and it always crashes like this. Emails are always delayed like this. Yet every time, they like to promote it like it's going to work this time, and wont even take a few simple steps to fix (or at least mitigate) the issue. They could put in a queue system like many other websites have to funnel people through he store in a controlled fashion. They could release the digital and physical preorders at different times to split up the demand on the website.

But they just do the same thing again and again and never try to make the experience better for the consumer.

If they don't ban discussion of this game so I'm seeing it both here and ResetEra, I might just buy it if it comes to PC. Like all the whining about it just makes me want to play it more. Hopefully, I like the action more than Bayonetta or Nier: Autromata. Someday the people there will learn to never engage with Kyuuji, et al. when they pop up in Gaming and it's a thread about sexualization. Because when they do, they're gonna make it worse for them and the next guy by feeding their banlust.

Absolutely. This is all so unbelievably frustrating and sad. Those types of chuds have long considered the mere existence of broad categories of people (LGBTQ+, racial minorities) to be "political." Now the existence of just regular, human-looking women is "political."

How does anyone become so insular, hateful, and detached from reality that they consider others' existence to be a personal affront? How do they function day to day like this?

I don't have anything else to add, really. It's just fucked.

it also seems like conservatives and companies kind of switch up what young women should worry about to keep them constantly insecure (with regards to the aging thing atm). Which isn't new just it's getting sent directly to people 24/7 via social media. It feels like in general the body positivity movement has slowly died off, I hope that isn't the case though.

Also can't forget Heard vs Depp making things even worse.

Also I need to mention that when people say "the books", they are referring to the localised book which is free of the writer's misogynist and sexist views specifically because they hired someone to get rid of those. It's not a translation but localisation. And the show does an even better job of giving the characters some...character. It makes them real characters rather than plot devices.
