if you're trans you need to start thinking about what your bright lines are, what you're willing to do for your dignity and your community when they're crossed, and who will be alongside you doing it, regardless of whether or not we have mass mobilization behind us at that point.

I keep trying to make friends but for some reason people just don’t like me man. I don’t get it. I’m a nice guy, have lots of interests… but I feel like there is something innately about me that turns people off. I just want friends I can hang out with, go see a movie or concert, play a game. I don’t have that. It just makes me sad and makes me feel like a loser. I’m at a loss with what to do. I guess I’m just destined not to have a close friendship outside of my marriage.

 

Hate to say it, but it’s obvious when somebody is desperate like that. Second, don’t expect adult friendships to be the same as the middle school activities described there. You’d have better luck finding swinger friends over thirty than somebody to play Halo co-op on legendary with.

The best(?) part about these rulings is that they picked this fight themselves.

They choose to be very political on these subjects and made folks mostly ignoring their subculture as just another bunch of weirdos look into it more.
Not to mention that they shut down the moderate voices with serious concerns about therapies and practices (but still mostly supporting them).
Plus they handed conservative politicians an easy way to score points with their religious base (be it Muslim, Jew or Christian).

Some of you would hate the justice system here in Denmark. Life in prison is a thing here, but after 12 years you can seek parole, and the average time served with a life sentence is 17 years. To my knowledge, we only have two people currently, who have spent more than 30 years in prison.

This means that the developer pool is smaller than normal while requiring a higher level of specialized expertise. Furthermore, each VR setup has its own camera/headset implementation and controller design, so porting isn't simple.

If we end up here next year then maybe the concern is warranted but slow starts for new hardware have been par for the course in this industry for several generations. Remember the "PS3 has no games" memes? I get that folks want new games for their shiny toy now but... things take time.
