There is certainly a vibe shift. The CEO of Intercom is taking pictures with Trump. While 4 years ago they would bombard you with LGBTQ+ propaganda through newsletters and podcasts.

The tech companies funded the 'agenda' and the 'message'. If you read about DEI departments shutting down, that isn't happening at SMEs who never had any to begin with. Those positions are being cut at mid-sized tech companies. Some big tech firms are obviously still pushing the woke agenda like Apple and Microsoft but there is significant and public pushback now. This won't result in all of them jumping on the Trump train but if they don't donate to Democrats and all those fake charities that means Democrats are losing a big advantage over the Republicans in money and influence.

You could also see this at Summer Games Fest. There was a surprising lack of games pushing the agenda or a political message. No ads of trans kids in wheel chairs playing games with the Xbox retard controller. No highlighting the excellence of the Somali game industry. No UN climate propaganda. Geoff didn't even demo a gay visual novel on stage but instead had an Asian dude promote his RTS. In fact he mostly had Asian dudes on stage. When they re-introduced Mai for Street Fighter 6, she wasn't akshually lesbian and fat. Even EA didn't make SKATE the gayest thing possible. This didn't happen because there aren't any trans folx waiting to create a high school furry fantasy about palestine but because the funding dried up. After all you can simply buy these slots at Summer Geoff Fest.

In independent media you can see this too. Joe Rogan and his guest were joking back and forth about the Hamas Caucus blocking the pride parade.

The problem is that nuclear power would fix the climate issue. Abundant cheap clean energy would ruin their anti-capitalist agenda. 
Plus Gazprom and Chinese entities poured a lot of money in the progressive anti-nuclear lobby.

She has a tweet later responding to George Miller stating that the film was playing into mythology about transcending a feminine state to almost god (or myth)-like level, which she claimed further proved it was about transition. A lot of people are incapable of appreciating or interacting with art or media unless they can find a direct connection to their identity. It's one of the biggest red flags I've noticed with poor media literacy today and a lot of people have been conditioned to think this way by social media. We made it ok to dismiss or criticize films for being too white, or too straight, or not inclusive enough while ignoring the intention of the art. Like...remember when Lady Bird came out and a certain segment of twitter was weirdly dismissive of it for being too white. That was 2017 so it was the peak of a lot of insanity, but the remnants of those arguments still resonate in a lot of people's brains whether they articulate it as clearly or not today.

If you can't identify with something solely because it's not a direct 1:1 for yourself, you have a fucking problem lol. And this leads to a lot of the weird shit. It reminds me of when people would do those weird shipping things for fictional characters on Tumblr, but now it's about creating weird delusions about characters in order to obsess over them. Oh this character in a movie doesn't talk much and is shy, he must be autism coded! Kill yourself, please.

I wonder if its correlated to a general downfall in reading actual literature, because you can tell a story in a lot of media but books are the only medium where inner monologues often play a large role in how that story is told.

Like, Jane Eyre is fucking great, but I can enjoy it without having to be a thirsty 19th century governess.

You're 100% right. Ironically it used to be conservatives trying to ban shit like Huck Finn or To Kill A Mockingbird, now some leftists are trying to erase them (for different reasons). But those are exactly the types of books that introduce children to literary devices, perspectives, symbolism, change, etc. Instead we're stacking generations of children who not only don't read, many of them CAN'T read. And then we're shocked they watch movies and cannot comprehend that a fictional character doing bad things does not mean the film/director/writer is promoting bad things. Brains are really cooked and it fucks up the type of movies that can be made, the types of movies that succeed/fail, etc. Same with television. It's bad now but shit is going to get far worse.

I def think my HS had various problems but English was great. Getting kids to engage with literature at an early age is important, and even if a kid is just reading books to get a passing grade you've unlocked a door they will use again one day. Lord Of The Flies, 1984, House On Mango Street...there's such a clear pathway to helping kids learn, if academics and activists and weirdo parents would shut the fuck up.
