This looks like an even bigger departure from the original than Future was. I guess if you were down for that you'll probably be down for this but from where I'm standing it sucks that the only way for this to live on is seemingly to change what the original even was.

Between the graffiti being simplified, losing tight levels for a more open design, and the whole race-against-the-clock once again being left by the wayside, it feels like no one ever liked the first game to begin with. And, yeah, ignoring everything else the new visual style is a big step down from both previous games.

What a reasonable amount of information to declare as fact based off footage that is so distant from an alpha state, the environments are still in the blocking phase.

Jesus christ and people wonder why devs won't even whisper their game's existence until months from launch. Imagine seeing the layout phase of a film in production and thinking "welp, I guess Pixar gave up on animation!"

You mean the two lovers? Nah, they seem to be pretty distinct people. The one barely talks about trans stuff (mostly wrestling) and the VTuber actually makes their own games on itch with promoting those being most of what they tweet. Melody is the real weirdo of the three. They all do MUTUAL AID begging though, the VTuber has a monthly one about not being able to afford groceries.

They've probably never met in real life. Lots of "poly" relationships, especially trans ones, are just friendships with weird public sex LARPing and little actual sex. That black-and-white all-or-nothing thinking makes them neurotic about regular friendships so they make "polycules" to have regular ass friends doing regular ass friend things. They need some kind of Official Seal of Approval or they can't grasp any kind of relationships even just casual ones. Being able to talk about your GIRLFRIENDS and how LESBIAN you all are is a bonus.
