Relatedly unrelated, I keep passing by golf related shops and ranges and such that I’ve been incepted into considering. Good lord it seems to be an expensive hobby. Maybe they know they can bleed out the clientele. Golfing gloves look roughly the same as batting gloves with a hefty up charge. But at the same time, if you can still play into your 80s, it’s an investment.
Golf is a great game. Doesn't have to be expensive if you don't want. Unless you're a pro, you won't notice the difference between an older second hand set of clubs and the latest and greatest. It's great because you're essentially playing against yourself while still able to play in a group with others.

I was watching news last night, and there were interviewing a congressperson(senator?) and a younger one.
The were asked about the nomination. They said it wasn't a coronation, then the younger on chimed in and was like "this wasn't a coronation, anyone could have ran for the nomination".
I'm thinking....it's been three days and Harris was privy to Biden dropping out, and the whole "call to the dem caucus".
Like it's fucking great everyone is behind Harris, but cut the bullshit about everyone having a chance to get the no from Biden.

The Border Czar thing is really the most bizarre self-inflicted slip up just a few days into the Harris campaign.
They could've just said something like: "Yes, the VP was in charge of the border and soon she will be again".
But instead they play wack-a-mole on Wikipedia and other sources, taking L after L as more and more mentions of her being 'border czar' surface and making it look they're trying to censor and hide a big scandal.
