The more I play this game, the more I am convinced that this is the PlayStation 5's:

Rocket League, Mario Kart 8, Halo: Combat Evolved, GoldenEye, Twisted Metal.

This game feels like playing all of these games. And playing this game right now feels just like playing all of these games right at their respective launches too. Being there for an iconic game that people will look at and remember forever. Sucks to be a hater I guess.

This is a console defining, system selling killer app multiplayer game. It is a true PS5 game. What do I mean? The entire package exemplifies the experience that Sony defined for the console.

It is incredibly, unbelievably immersive/engrossing. There's no bullshit; this game cuts right to the chase highlighting the focus on the SSD, as you get into and out of and back into matches faster than any other multiplayer game on this planet right now. The DualSense controller implementation actually delivers on the promise of what the controller set out to do. In that it elevates the experience by complimenting the audio-visual feedback to deliver a tactile feedback in the hands that pretty much perfectly corresponds to both the visuals you're seeing and the sound you are hearing.

Then there is the sound. This might be one of the very best, if not THE outright best sound design in a video game, which really conveys Sony's push for 3D spatial audio. Because playing this game with a nice quality pair of headphones, the soundscape of everything in action in this game is actually insane. Play Area Control on the Train Trouble map and converge on the central B point with 5+ players with headphones on and you tell me.

I would also go on to say that this is probably the first truly impressive visuals (and art direction) next gen game for me after Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and the Demon's Souls remake before it.

The more I play of this, the more laughable the broader reception really is.

At this point I'm convinced this dude is either a Firewalk employee or a Sony shareholder.

I mean, I agree, just not in the same way as he does. 

This piece of shit game is exactly what Sony has pushed a large chunk of the gaming industry into and it WILL define the PS5 and all the missteps Sony has made on the software front. 

Microsoft dropping the ball completely has make things look better than they are, but the fact that we're almost a complete console cycle through and THIS is what Sony is dishing out and the   are out in full force defending this crap tells you how dire things are.

The majority of Americans don't give a flying flip about a ceasefire and wouldn't be able to point out Palestine if you gave them a map. The voters that Harris needs to win care about affording next month's rent, being able to afford the gas to get to work, and things like if they have to buy off-brand produce to make ends meet or not.

Harris coming out for an arms embargo at this point would do little to no good and would likely actually hurt her in the eyes of voters.
