Without exaggeration, there are more pages of that Concord thread than players worldwide playing right now.  The biggest gaming site intersectional bisexual bonfire could double the player count easily, but they don't care about a game that represents what Herbert Marcuse calls, "the lumpen frumpentariot".  Shame.  Game could've been just a little more sustainable if Resetera had a *little* more class consciousness.  I mean, the theory is there, but the praxis?  The praxis is lacking. And effective praxis always starts at the local level. Instead of condemning the games industry or gamers or society at large, why is nobody asking why Resetera isn't playing the game?

I think people underestimate the chud's influence because they don't want them to have that sort of pull. They just don't want to believe it. Almost every time I open steam forums I see it. 2 women kissing in a screenshot for a game? The forums had a long ass thread about how that's sexual content and the game should be banned.

These games that get targeted get review bombed, or have their bad reviews elevated, and their forums get flooded because they're invested in seeing the games or the industry conform to server what they want. I think the healthy approach is to not believe the world does, or should, or ever has revolved around you.
