It's just a simple fact that we all rank humans by a perceived value to us. I know ResetERA.com doesn't but most people would rank their family as more important than other people. And people they know over strangers. 

The more you feel a person is connected to you in some way the more you're going to value them over any random human, in fact you're doing the exact same thing in this post. You feel more connected to "people of color in America" so you're without evidence granting them more favorable assumptions.

This doesn't mean that those who you don't rank at the top have "no value" and I think this is really a problem with your ideological beliefs from how you think capitalism operates to social relationships to international conflicts to acceptable lesbian musicians and everything else. Having a preference for one thing over another doesn't mean you want the lower value thing eliminated or think it shouldn't exist or think it has no value at all.

The classic example about water and diamonds illustrates this in a way that I think even you weirdos could grasp it. Which do you want? Diamonds right? Okay, now imagine you're wandering in the desert. You would never trade me a barrel of diamonds for a bottle of water in our everyday lives, but if you were carrying the former across the desert and came to me and my refrigerator with a single bottle of water this changes.

And that's really putting no value on others, it's dismissing concerns about the cost to me for having that bottle of water exactly where you want exactly when you most wanted it. To be absolutely clear, I never spoke to neither Alex Lifschitz nor Zoe Quinn, let alone attacked them. On the contrary, I once argued in favor of Zoe Quinn when discussing a statement I deeply disagreed with. That was after both of Lifschitz’s tweets, by the way.

And what I just showed, Mister Holmes, is the reason why I am one of those who hope that CON will, indeed, “fail”. Promoting an organization that is supposed to help the victims of online hate but is run by a hypocrite who actively tries to ruin strangers’ livelihood and life, is not something I can get behind.
