He does amateur stand up comedy, and he literally made himself into a Patrick Star-esque character on purpose because he thinks it’s funnier that way. He whines about anything that takes the slightest modicum of effort, even not leaving his empty beer bottles in my room when we hang out in there, and when you call him out for making excuses, his answer is “but I LIKE complaining!” No joke. His family is well aware of this behavior and is at a loss as well.
I just had to vent about this to someone other than my therapist, lol. Has anyone else dealt with someone like this?
