Yeah, on the topic of that user having a stroke, I almost always avoid trying to make fun of people who suffer from serious life threatening issues, since it's no laughing matter. Life can be extremely cruel and unfair. I wish for that guy to have a full recovery from the stroke.

I'm hung up on how a hearing aid is supposed to help with tinnitus anyway. I got tinnitus in both ears and it's not like I want to hear more shit.

You two have my condolences and I hope a cure comes quick enough. I had tinnitus where I was almost deaf in my right ear because my hearing was impaired, and the ringing was just so loud. It was pure hell. Thankfully I made full recovery after about a week or two. Ever since then, I always take precaution to not listen to loud sounds and to protect my ears.

I don't mean this as a "well I always hated him" thing, but I'm reminded of when I finally watched Rocky the first time, a movie ostensibly made to show a triumph of the American dream, and I was just struck my how it was asking me to root for the white guy who had opportunity for the championship dropped at his feet arbitrarily over the Black career boxer who had actually gone through the whole process and worked his way up to be the champion the hard way.

That is a pretty cynical way to see that film, specially forgetting the whole point that he was dirty poor and being a loan shark, while Apollo (at the time of the movie) was also playing the American Dream act to the public. Saying that Rocky didn’t work his way to the top the “hard way” is silly as hell.

I suppose you can tell Rocky resonated with a lot of people precisely because this rather than just racial animosity, because then Apollo will have not explored be as a character of his own later on.

Stick with the mecha anime, Thammy… but I know they also ask you to see the other side and just not repeat leftie talking points from a decade ago because Sly has brain damage.

I have tinnitus in my left ear from noise damage.  I went to some audiologist once in the basement of a Macy's.  I had a pre-screening interview with him where I told him about my tinnitus, then he tested my hearing and FAKED the audiogram because he confused which ear is fucked (and the hearing loss notches on the frequency chart were wrong even if he got the ear right, anyway)  No, it wasn't a simple mistake, you go through the test twice - and he got the ear "wrong" twice with the wrong audiogram notches - that doesn't happen and has never happened to me in the dozen of audiologists i've been to.  Then he gives me a catalogue to buy hearing aids and points out the most expensive ones to buy.  The cadillac of hearing aids, if you will.   i'm not tryna hear that shit (no pun intended).  Who am i kidding, that was intended as fuck.  I find out months later that the place got shut down, not sure about the specifics.  To reiterate: this bitch ass was GONNA FIT ME WITH HEARING AIDS USING A FAKE AUDIOGRAM.  Don't listen to these trifling ass niggas, Uncle.  I know what you're talking about.  Medical opportunists exist.   Any rock hard cocks in the chat tonight?
