So I have been transitioning for over 2 years (I am transfemme non binary). Early this year I told my mother and sister and my in-laws. I was planning to tell my father and brother but I was advised not to.

Anyway fast forward to yesterday, I got a tattoo done, really happy with it and happily posted it to my Facebook.  I didn't notice the side boob however...

Well my brother did, he has now told my father and I have been outed... by myself...

God I feel silly and frustrated with myself now...

So any advice?

There's more nuance to this than you're maybe expressing or considering here. Stellar Blade has seen some coverage, though you might have to dig.

Sexualised representation isn't inherently negative or positive, but there's a huge amount baked into the design intent and the agency of the characters in how that's perceived. This is a pretty major part of why Stellar Blade,'s overtly sexual designs (exclusively for the female characters I should add) get some criticism here.

Women enjoying them doesn't necessarily mean they weren't designed with the male gaze in mind, but it also doesn't mean you're a bad person in some way for enjoying them either.

That said, going to bat for them as some of your favourite designs invites some more fervent criticism than you might get in the standard threads.

Ah yes, sorry but I never read this thread. But I understand what you're refering to I think. I heard something like this months and months ago about Stellar Blade. And I'll never read this thread. I don't want to read people telling other people what's good and what's not like they were talking for everyone in the world. I'm not going to change my opinion because how other people see something. And I don't plan to try to change anyone opinion. I'll just like to see more open-minded people and less attacks and diabolizing methods (internet likes to do this a lot).

And I think the title "Why women criticise sexualised character designs" is a bad title because it implies that all women criticize and don't like sexualized character design and I hate it when someone puts a whole community of people in the same basket. I know that some Character designs are dumb as fuck in some medias (Really Light armors, strange clothes, etc...).

If the title is an answer to a lot of guys asking this question, I don't even want to read it because the question is clumsy at best.

But I understand why so many people don't like Stellar Blade and want to hate on every person who like the design. Many Stellar Blade "fans" likes the game only because it's a vision "against" the occidental progressist vision. I never talk about animes with anime fans online because a lot of Anime fans are too passionate and toxic (and dumb). But if the online fight over Stellar Blade is between fans of the game and haters who both love and hate it for political reasons I find that very sad and unfair.

If males are not the only one to enjoy it then why being so hateful about it? That's not because I like Lily's design in the game that I think it's a great outfit for someone IRL. But even if someone wears this IRL, I don't have a word to say about it if I like it or not. I think the problem in Stellar Blade isn't the women bots design, it's the bland design of Adam. I like creatures designs so far (I'm at Gorrilla Boss).
