They added in the past year or so, suicide bombing, that Oct 7th attack mission, and hostage beheadings. Aside from that, the game is also full of stolen assets.

My opinion of church waxed and waned as I grew up. When I was really young I loved Sunday school. That church was great. Then we moved from Hawaii to Denver, I didn't fit in with the new youth group and was miserable. Then I figured out I wouldn't have to go to youth group if I became an acolyte, and I loved doing that. I thought about becoming a pastor for a long time, and worked in ministry in my early 20s, but lost my faith in my mid-20s and haven't been back. The only time I have been to church in the past couple decades was to attend a drag show lol

In Islam, going to the mosque/masjid on Fridays is an hour max. 15-20 min sermon, 5 min prayer, and then hanging out with friends outside and buy food. I don't think I ever disliked going, cause of the community aspect.

I hated the kids at Sunday school, the only place I've been remotely bullied. If we went I would beg them to let me stay with them and not go with all the little shit head kids at Sunday school. I was a small kid going to inner city public schools but the snobby Sunday school kids were worse than anything I had to deal with at real school.

I do have some respect for faith and how it can be a positive influence in people lives. But I'm not willing to let it be a foundation that could be damaged in mine anymore. It's not my identity: it doesn't need to be.

And the argument that lax religiosity led people to find meaning in other ways, I also feel like we haven’t had a Westboro or Branch Davidians type of situation for a while.
