I like that they basically allowed construct to define his own ban period.

Or People can fly output. Yeah, they've pretty much put out one game in the last 13 years because their other work was on Epic stuff like Gears/Fortnite.
edit: Also they supposedly didn't make anything from Outriders.

I feel like she could have had a real impact in exposing the ridiculousness of some of what the TRAs are pushing if she just toned it down by like 10%.
Maybe 50%

Well, he actually said a couple, not three weeks.,
so they got in a little petty move there.

I absolutely loved Bulletstorm but for some reason they never followed it up with a sequel or something similar. Hell, not even an FPS

Outriders is a terrible game. Gears judgment had a decent campaign but fuck me the multiplayer was awful beyond words.

It also did poorly sales wise, but People Can Fly got the IP when they split from Epic. Which is why there's the remaster.

Recently, I heard a kid (maybe around 8 or so? I dunno, I can't tell kid ages) ask "what is nostalgia?" Looking up from his phone. The mom came back with a very positive explanation about "warm fuzzy feelings" about something from the past "that makes you happy."
That's nothing outright wrong about that explanation, I thought to myself, but my immediate reaction was "Yeah, but what the pain of nostalgia, and the trouble it can get you in if you chase after it?" Then I realized that maybe it's a good thing I'm not around kids much lol.
So I thought to ask: when do you wait explain the more subtle bittersweet aspects of life to young people? And is it just to wait until they can grasp it, or is it to maintain their sense of innocence?
But that doesn't answer the question the kid asked, it's a vaguely related tangent.

This is not a dude who was pleading for healthcare at the whim of insurance companies: his rich family has clearly given him everything he wanted and then some...they certainly could've ensured he got the best care possible, wherever he wanted to get it.
Think the key here is the guy messed with DMT and went a bit (a lot?) nuts. It’s not uncommon.
Not a condemnation of psychedelics. It’s just, this guy seems to type to not handle it.
