I love music, games, and movies especially a lot of the older ones before I was even born for music and movies thanks to my parents. I'm into old games too. Horror and fantasy are my favorite genre.

I'm not into fighting games unless it's like Super Smash Bros Ultimate. So if that count than I'll want one that has a variety of style and characters like fantasy, cyberpunk, goth, steampunk etc in music and style. A bunch of characters like vampires, werewolves, wizards, cyborgs, knights, witches, demons, angels etc and all kind of other things. I'll still keep straights in just to have a bigger variety but definitely would be including a lot of Bi, lesbian, gay, trans etc characters in the game. Definitely a adventure story mode within the game to make me care for the characters more.

My parents didn't vote though just that they lean more right. I don't agree with them on things but I get by alright with them. Brother is a jerk with some of his offensive jokes sometimes but I still love him. I learned to co exist pretty well with my parents and got used to a lot of things. I kind of had to since I'm not working yet so all my money comes from my parents. Friends are a mix, close friends either don't like Trump or don't care for either sides.

As for my cousins, aunts, uncle etc I'm not too sure where some of them stand. Didn't ask them but two of them are definitely pure maga as in voted for trump, it'll be a mix between them. The others as well as my cousins don't care about politics as far as I know.

Doing alright, it's mostly been the same as it's always been. Hanging out with friends after school, skateboarding, video games etc tons of things to distract myself from what's going on. Also helps that my friends rarely bring up politics.

It's something I find particularly egregious and am growing increasingly tired of. Women are staring down the barrel of losing reproductive rights, having pregnancies tracked and losing access to abortion even in cases of life-threatening complications, incest and child rape. I have spoken to women perfectly able to have children who are now thinking about adoption instead for fear their access to healthcare might be restricted between conception and giving birth. Trans women face repeat threats of losing access to healthcare, having their existence criminalised and being put in a men's prison and deliberately allocated to the most violent men so that they can be raped by them in an effort to make those men less violent. Sat alongside all of this is a general increase in violent rhetoric toward women and status of people preaching it.

Yet what have we seen a constant stream of articles, threads here and bleeding hearts around since the US election? How can we help men. How we can help 'save' men from being tempted toward extreme misogyny. Each time discussions here invariably saying that the reason men are increasingly becoming attracted to misogynistic influencers and right-wing ideologies is, in part, because of how women speak about them. The sheer audacity of it is blinding, particularly when female solidarity in the face of male violence is now called 'tribalism' in disdain as though it's part of the problem. The notion of it rings particularly hollow when trans women have filled newspaper headlines and articles for years now being painted as frauds, rapists and pedophiles with no real discernible move toward finding removing the rights of people appealing.

Not only is it always something or someone pushing men to do the things they do, the things they have done throughout history, but it's also always something that prevents them from being able to resist or resolve the problem themselves. If a man finds it appealing when Andrew Tate tells him women are objects and inferior it has to be because women or something else pushed him there. It's so infantilising but it's accepted because it removes the onus from their actions, and that's appealing. It's no coincidence that topics around trad wives don't garner the same appeal or excuses. It's just men that get treated like they had no choice but to wrap their mouths around the exhaust pipe of far-right ideology and inhale deeply. We're not allowed to simply expect better of them either because that's apparently leaving them to naturally progress to this state. Which is increasingly frustrating when so few seem willing to do anything to help themselves in the situations they lament, particularly social ones. So instead we're left with article after article about what 'we' can do to help men.

I know I'm not the only one growing sick of it either. I wonder how many more articles or threads I'll see asking how we can help prevent men from becoming misogynists before I see one asking how we can help girls likely to become victims of those same men. How many times the plight of those now facing persecution - be it immigrants, trans people, women - will be set aside in order to focus on helping the people that voted for it.
