Max has been a corpo streamer forever, I really don't know why Era would mention anything that would upset his sponsors, I remember watching a VOD of his stream of Silent Hill 2 (OG) and it was almost impressive how hard he danced around directly mentioning any of the really uncomfortable elements of that game and just saying "wow dood, what an impactful game." I don't want to shit on him too hard, because he's done a lot of good for MvC (and I don't want to side with Era more than I have to) but I get some serious fake nice guy vibes from him.

There are absolutely benefits to working in an office. These threads always veer towards "all human contact is the worst punishment you can inflict on someone".

I work from home, but there are things about in office work I miss and I am always perplexed at how every one of these threads goes and pretends those things don't exist.

I definitely think there are benefits and preferences. My issue is with inconveniencing workers, disrupting their lives and asking them to sacrifice for something that is to no benefit to anyone other than capitalism.

Pretty typical of Max's mods, his chat can spout a bunch of transphobic shit whenever he plays Guity Gear and a Bridget shows up as an opponent with no bans or timeouts but call out people Ronaldo and you get timed out. I got timed out for calling out reuben langdon before as well.

Disappointing. I know FCG is poverty genre so I expect, at most, many of the content creators will just ignore the Cronaldo topic so that they can cover the game while its new. I want to say I expected better from Max but that ship sailed as soon as everyone just ignored the whole MBS angle.
