Well, duh? Yeah, I know the Left is about it, but the actual push of the party has been on identity politics and not class politics. Much like how Republicans used to be known as ‘the party of fiscal responsibility’ if it ever really was. Neither is true now at the moment. 

I think the religious wing of the right is a better analogy - certainly when I was younger the obnoxious self apointed moral guardians dictating how people 'should' act, calling for media bans, and demanding things like advertisers withdraw their budgets from 'transgressive' media was almost exclusively a right wing phenomenon.

Nowadays, outside of blips like that whole bud light thing, its almost exclusively the New Clergy of 'leftist' woke scolds screaming for bans on heretical materials and demanding society en masse adhere to a faith based code of conduct they never signed up to.

The left has always been like this, they just didn't have much social power yet. Then they achieved dominant position across all kinds of institutions.

When you're in permanent opposition it's easy to not talk about what you're actually for.

I don't want to get into a whole spiel but the narrative surrounding Microsoft's acquisition of Rare being a bad thing was cooked up by salty Nintendo fanboys. Rare put out solid games under Xbox (Conker Live & Reloaded, Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts AKA the best Banjo game, Viva Pinata 1&2) plus they licensed their unused IPs out which is how we got Killer Instinct 2013. Rare only had a lull when they were stuck making Kinect games for a while, once they got out of that Kinect funk they made Sea of Thieves and the result speaks for itself. 
  

Sony got an absolutely terrible deal with Bungie, just another bad decision in their long line of GAAS trend chasing.

Is Iran working on nukes not pretty much a fact? Sure we can talk about how long it takes for them to finish, somehow it's always imminent, but it doesn't seem like quite the lie as with Iraq. Why are they like this? ResetEra and Famiboards both have this blanket ban on all things Harry Potter and Cyberpunk 2077 because it personally pissed off the trans mods. 
 
Famiboards' moderation legit unhinged. People catch bans for the tiniest things unless they grovel before the mods within the hours following a reply from them.

Forums I've been on in the past always revealed who made the alt account. Though alts weren't banned unless they were a permabanned user.

Can't do that on Resetera without exposing their hypocrisy. Gotta protect the mods and favoured members from being punished for behavior they wouldn't tolerate from anyone else. Same reason the rules have to be kept secret. Which is kinda surprising being how open they've just been with what mods can get away with.
