It was partially on me for being one of those "I don't care about politics" people until around 2016. My best friend at the time had been a staunch Libertarian for years and up to that point, I just took him at his word for what that entailed. But I was also pretty shitty myself, at least in terms of the stuff I let fly. He would regularly make racist jokes (he wasn't the only one in my old friend group to do that, but he's the only one who never stopped) and while we all expressed annoyance at it, we never really did anything about it.

I've been feeling lonely the past few days and I think I'm coming to terms that I'll never date for many reasons.

The big one is being trans, specifically being trans in a VERY conservative area (it's really depressing just how much support Reform UK has here and how open some people are with it), where I'm unable to transition (and unable to afford to), I have massive body issues (I feel ugly) about myself; and I just don't feel safe being openly trans, both locally or anywhere in the UK right now. Like even in progressive circles, it feels so easy to find a TERF or someone willing to play softball about the Labour party, downplaying their transphobia as being not too bad or "It would have been worse under the Tories!"

I have massive social anxiety and can't flirt for shit. While I've tried to improve myself, I just don't feel comfortable talking to people in public, like I get freaked out when people ask me for directions, no way would I be good company on a date. Plus that along with my depression makes me feel like I'd be considered to pathetic to date; not going to lie, despite the kind words of a few users here, dating threads on ERA make me depressed and miserable because it makes it clear that if you're a shy introvert or have issues like depression, you're deemed "low standards"

I'm in my early 30s at this point and just don't think I have it in me to date, I already feel stressed with work, family, social anxiety, the Government and seeing society slowly more and more turn against me and others for the crime of existing and being trans, I just don't think I can date.

 
I always suspected Echoes was an incel of sorts but I didn’t know he was that desperate for an uwu wlw wholesome lesbian gf. Blaming his lack of romantic success on transphobia is extremely funny, it’s clear that even if he did transition he’d have zero interest in dating another trans woman and wants a cis lesbian woman ONLY to live out his dreams.

I can only imagine what AI coding looks like. It reminds me of Dreamweaver web design from the early 2000s. That program would ad so much useless code and bog down a site. I assume AI coding is like that.

I asked it to make me a batch file a while back and then refined its functionality over several iterations, and because I'm not a moron I read the code first, and I understood everything it was doing, it was just pure time savings of not having to look up the syntax and type it myself

You have the example of arc raiders, using AI in some form, people complaining, even the CEO embrasing AI saying companies do and dont say anything... And arc raiders is failing? No, people keep playing, go to that thread and you will see people saying "its good, i dont care" "if they use AI but the game is amazing, i dont care" etc... Thats the evidence you need that when the game is good, use AI, doesnt matter how much we complain, it will not matter, and games are becoming good more and more, there is a quote from take two ceo saying "being good is the new bad" why? Because majority of games today are really good games, everyone is battling to go beyond exceptional



We can complain all dah against AI, we have years complaining about it, and nothing have erased AI, now developers are using it more and more, I think the better use of AI is when they donr replace workers but improve the developwrs tools
