I said I watch it for the commercials because the awards mean nothing to me. I get nothing out of them. The big new game drops? I get something out of that. So that's what I care about.

I also want developers to have more awards and to have their recognition because the awards actually do matter to them. As it can directly impact and enrich their livelihoods. Any game that wins GOTY at Goeff's show ends up selling a ton and getting streamed a ton, and the devs deserve it. I'm so plugged into things that there is no exposure for me in the awards. It means nothing to me.
