Size of the country doesn't really mean much. Israel has some of the most advanced equipment in the world, stealth capabilities, and the full backing of the US. It is a huge moving of goalposts to go from such a factually wrong statement as "every original RE game is becoming lost media and replaced by their remakes" to "well, they're not available on Switch yet."

Stuff is getting harder and harder to find if you want to play the original games and not JUST the remakes. You can argue semantics all you want but at the end of the day it shouldn't be a gigantic headache just to have access to the original version of a game.

At least in Onimusha's case Capcom seems to be slowly remastering the original games one at a time and putting them on all platforms, though we'll see if they ever get around to 3 or Shin.
