I think I should make something clear, because it seems like some folks still don't understand. And it's possibly due to a certain set of consistent posters on ERA continuing to fucking derail every possible Canada thread they can without any of the non-regular ERA users(guess who falls into that definition?) ever bothering to stop it(no matter how many report buttons are pressed), on a consistent daily basis.

Canadians on ERA do not hate Americans on ERA. Hell, I feel our fellow International ERA comrades overseas are feeling the same(but that's my high fucking opinion of them, so they should say their stance loud and clear for themselves)

We fucking detest and 1000000000000%/Infinitely oppose/reject/have issue with the lack of clear ACTUAL action(stop saying there are efforts happening when you can't even acknowledge the election cycles you live in with 2 eternal parties, but then downplaying actual examples of overseas efforts to actually protest with results), consistently inconsistent lack of will/fire to fight your own fucking problems(instead of acknowledging your own inward non-unity being the root cause i.e. We didn't vote for this.... when you own your entire results regardless), ignorant/misinformed statements(i.e. it's easy to protest in Canada, EU, AUS, NZ, etc because we all get paid for protest days off, right? What about those poor countries who don't have even 1/1,000,000th of what Americans have, yet bravely fucking fight because they have nothing else left but sheer will?), and the god damned American Exceptionalism dripping utter horseshit way you conduct yourselves when you walk into a thread about a country having the courage to fight back against the chosen government/general US system/people's voted(not voted against) intent that you allow to keep happening over and over and over again.

I've said this before, but until folks can acknowledge the reason why we all never say #NotAllRussians, #NotAllIsraelis, #NotAllNazis, but somehow folks say #NotAllAmericans(which if I recall correctly, I got banned for when I was one of the first ERA users to coin that phrase here, but thankfully others picked up on it immediately), there will always be a sense of disappointment/sadness from those of us who are not American.

So yeah, this isn't hate at all. Just a tired, but still consistent effort to try to fucking educate what should be like-minded fellows here on ERA. That's all. Hate is only ever reserved for a scenario(which we pray never happens) of if someone invades Canada(which unfortunately people still don't take seriously enough when madmen casually state it in various ways, and now for other countries like Greenland).

So yeah, like other Canadians have said above. Come up here, if you can, and are able to live here(that entire concept of pulling up the ladder behind by the last person, has always bothered me to the core). And just live normal lives, and with us, as Canadians(under the laws we have, the cultural mosaic and the choices we have to live with). But please leave behind the lack of will to fix America/any baggage behind, and start anew. As you will need a will to let Canada be the way it has always been, and hope for it to be better(as we fight our own demons, from within and outside).

Advocate not siloing language by race: permanent ban.

Like Intelligence, what does that actually mean? What is the actual difference between a 7 and an 8; so often it's just "knowledge" and to me, knowing a lot doesn't actually make you smart, a Harvard student can be a bigoted idiot and a kid with no formal education can be highly intelligent, knowing how to use that knowledge to me is more important then just having that knowledge. It's such a shallow and inaccurate idea of intelligence; like why is wisdom so often separate to intelligence? I treat wisdom as a core part of intelligence. I wish there were other systems that didn't do this.
And this gets to Charisma and Rogue classes talents to just side step morality. Like you could have a deep moral and philosophical discussion, actually try to convince people on your views or prove yourself... But nah, just a *charisma check* Just side step the dilemma away!

Talk to your DM when they ask you for a charisma roll for speech. Any good DM will allow another type of roll depending on your argument. You just need to, you know, actually be willing to make said argument.

I dislike that so much and wish these games (tabletop and video games) didn't have that shit; a woman refuses to sleep with you? *Charisma check*, you murdered someone? *charisma check*. What a shallow and shit system yet so much of High Fantasy pulls this shit.

Passing a charisma check, even a nat 20, does not mean you automatically get what you want. Passing a check could be the difference between the guards attacking you then and there or taking you to a cell for further interrogation.  It is the same with seducing a woman. Yes there is the LOL CHARISMATIC BARD THAT SLEEPS WITH EVERYTHING meme but rolling high doesn't mean the bar owners wife is going to sleep with your character.

A lot of these issues sound like they're taking internet memes seriously or play with gooners.

Why can't lesbians and gay men be companions in games like Baldur's Gate III or other fantasy games, because they "ruin my power fantasy" and "they can be gay in someone else's game". I'm sick of that mentality. I want more. I want to be challenged by these RPGs.
