It's extremely frustrating how apparently easy it is to take a previously existing, at least moderately representative of all views, and turn it in a completely right wing shithole.

Used to be I could at least ignore right wing fuckfaces and find a good, supportive group of people, now absolutely everything is ruined by those blue tick pricks being pushed to the forefront no matter what you do.

It's not that weird, this is why they hate capitalism: it gives everyone an opportunity if they can trade something rather than keeping the non-elites in their place as the lower castes. Look how many of their complaints are about the "wrong people" being "allowed" to do something as if the norm should be permission asking of some institution. Since they think of themselves as part of the elite they never question the assumptions of such a system or its potential role in many of the uses of power they constantly complain about.

I just want to point out that Catbat is the first Non-Binary addition to the game and a great step in representation in a mascot platforming IP, so it feels a little more icky to poopoo this character just because it’s an OC. Their gameplay is fantastic too by the way.

I'm all for violent protests. Some protesters set the Marseille public library on fire though, that's not right. There are some buildings that should be off limits, like hospitals, schools and public libraries.

I get that it's cool to shit on Twitter for all of its problems (which I also do frequently), but the fact is that, like Reddit, it is not just an app, it is de facto infrastructure. It's like cheering when you see a bridge for a major highway blow up. It may or may not have been fit for purpose (mostly due to mismanagement), but people still use and rely on it, and the alternatives are not guaranteed to be better or as widely used.

But that bridge was owned by a nazi whose the 3rd richest person in the world (or whatever it is now), and the bridge was always populated by nazi groups who will literally piss and shit on the vehicles of those who use the bridge.

I get your argument, but that is a terrible analogy. Cheering a pipeline being shut down is one thing, but cheering the ecological disaster of a pipeline blowing up is a very different thing.
