They only want cis women to play these roles if they call for a character that's completely pre-op. They hate to be confronted with the reality that without hormones and surgery trans women are indistinguishable from a cis man in a wig. Pointing that out makes you a "transmedicalist" though.

so they angry that an actor is roleplaying yet they roleplay being women all the time and try invade their spaces 

so is a transwoman different from a woman to them too so thats why they need a transwoman to play a transwoman and not a man/woman actor to roleplay as a woman in a movie?

Not hard to feel like the only reason they're mad about the casting is because it's a reminder that their body is closer to a cis man than a cis woman.

It's ironic though because they also talk so much about how sex, gender is on a spectrum, how there's actually no difference between men and women etc. 
If you believe "A woman is someone who identifies as a woman", as Era claims, then that actor is literally a women while playing the character.

This is just another way of asking us if we "just assumed his gender" and comes off as very bad faith.

For additional context, I consider myself trans (non-binary at the moment, too scared to publicly admit anything further but that's besides the point) but I still present as a man. 99.9% of people assume I'm a cis-man when they see me and just because their assumption is ultimately incorrect, that doesn't mean it'd be a valid point to bring up like this if I was cast to portray a transwoman.
