The Master Resurrections sucks so fucking much that it’s actually a masterpiece. The movie could only ever be as bad as it is by actually trying to make it suck dick, but with the Wachowski’s downwards spiral of repeatedly abusing the goodwill of the first movie, it can legitimately be an attempt at making a good movie. There is certainly enough on the movie to make you think it is intentionally terrible, but also there’s enough juice in it to make you think it simply failed.

Like, the RLM of 10 years ago and the RLM now are different people. Some people will still find their generic whiteness and the privilege they inhahibit problematic. But this is an RLM that doesn't use the 't' word or does Chinese accents, so it feels like maybe they have some awareness. Now whether that's growth, or they're simply MAGA people who are hiding their true colours, I'll leave that to someone else to figure out.

I don't think there's really a good way to answer this question (and it's a bit odd honestly considering this tread exists, but also might as well not exist in the context of the entire forum).

I feel like they are certainly more deliberate about their content, and I still think that Jesse Gender giving them an endorsement (of sorts) should be worth something, so I do think they've matured and taken some feedback at least. But in the same way I don't think James Rolfe hates women, I never thought of RLM as bad as Midnight's Edge or some of those other channels in the first place so you may want to take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I guess it's only fair that you'd wonder why I'd ask this in a thread dedicated to discussing their content, but resetera has always been more progressive leaning than other forums and I figured there'd be some criticism of their works, especially nowadays. It's not my intention to disrupt or to ask this in bad faith, I was just curious is all.
