I'm picturing some left-leaning guy seeing this and then he's ordered to arrest someone and he refuses, and after a long court martial it's determined that the order was lawful

and then the consequences he suffers have a chilling effect on the rest of the military as they realize they don't really know which orders are lawful or unlawful themselves so they just do whatever they're told

You're overimagining this scenario. To disobey orders he has to first take it up with those who have immediate command over him, along with others in his unit.

Being ordered to arrest someone is an easy one because he should easily be able to tell if the rule of law has been suspended and the police have been disbanded.

The unique ways in which humans creatively and competitively express themselves through the arts- whether it's sports, furry culture, video games, what have you- is, I would wager, the one thing that separates from the animals. It's something to be admired, celebrated, and protected, even if realistically you're not going to have a significant interest in all of the creative endeavors humans can possibly engage in.

Couldn’t tell you, I don’t know many trans people and none well so I’d be making assumptions. I do think that there is a difference between sexuality and gender identity, and that with the latter there is the potential for the lines between gender identity and fetishism to be blurred.

I imagine that people who have genuine gender dysphoria feel the same as everyone else. I don’t think that all Trans people are like the terminally online/fetishist/autistic trans people that Era exemplifies. I’m sure most just want to get through their day feeling comfortable with who they are, and I need to remind myself that it’s not fair to assume that Era represents the norm.
